Evidence of need โ€” what counts

This is the document most people forget. It proves why you need a PPS number right now. Accepted documents include a job offer letter or contract from an Irish employer, a letter of acceptance from an Irish school or college, an HAP or social welfare application reference, a letter from the HSE or a hospital, or a letter from Revenue or a solicitor.

No evidence of need = appointment wastedThis is the single most common reason people leave without a PPS number. Don't go without it.
